5 out of 5 starsThis was my very first crochet project... ever. I got an impulse to make a doll of a fictional character, but didn't want to start on anything like a granny square. I bought the pattern, picked up a crochet hook for the first time, and went for it! The pattern was very intimidating at first (since I didn't know any stitches... whoops!), but two or three YouTube videos later and I was flying by! It's very easy for even a complete beginner like me, and I can't wait to finish my doll off with her dress, cloak, and hair. (I used buttons instead of safety eyes because that's how I originally envisioned the doll before going to hunt for a pattern. It was easy to implement using the pattern!)

Super cute, and easy to work up overall! And doesn't take much yarn, I think I used maybe half a skein of cotton-based yarn? I'm planning to make a series of dolls for my partner out of this :)
